Keep this page open and your device awake. Background tabs or device sleep may delay updates and prevent alarm sounds.

Several tasks, separate countdowns

In Together mode, each timer runs independently. In order mode waits for your chosen interval after each timer, then starts the next. All alarms use the shared sound settings in the header.

How to use it

  1. 1. Name your tasks

The page starts with two timers plus the Work and Kitchen combinations, eight timers in total. Edit their names or add another timer.

  2. 2. Set the durations

Each countdown supports 1 second to 99 hours 59 minutes 59 seconds.

  3. 3. Run them your way

Choose Together for individual or group starts, or In order to run the whole sequence with a gap between timers. Pause all preserves the current timer or interval; Reset all restores every set duration.

Ways to use this timer

Cooking several dishes

Keep separate countdowns for pasta, a sauce, and a recipe’s resting step. Follow the recipe for durations and checks.

Parallel classroom activities

Label each group or station and give it a different time allowance. Keep every countdown visible in the same tab.

Team games

Give each team its own named countdown. Pause one timer without holding up the others.

Work alongside household tasks

Keep a task block and a laundry reminder separate. Start each when the activity actually begins.

Multiple Timers FAQ

How many timers can I add?

You can keep up to 24 timers in this browser. Group and filter them to make larger collections easier to manage.

Does each timer use a different alarm sound?

No. Timers finish independently, but all use the ringtone and volume selected in the header. Choose Silent for visual reminders.

What is saved when I close the page?

Timers, paused states, combinations, run mode and interval are saved in this browser when storage is available. Running timers resume from their deadlines when reopened. Finishes missed by up to five minutes show a reminder; older finishes are only marked complete. No alarm sounds while the page is closed.

Which timers do batch controls affect in simultaneous mode?

If anything is selected, they affect only selected timers that are currently visible. Otherwise they affect all timers in the current filter. Start current starts ready timers, resumes paused ones and restarts finished ones; running timers stay unchanged. Pause affects running timers only, and Reset restores the original durations within that scope. Start all and Pause all in focus view affect every timer.

Does sharing include my saved timers?

The sharing toolbar shares this tool’s page. Your named timer setup is stored only in your browser and is not included in the shared link.

Will alarms work after I lock my phone?

Alarms are not guaranteed when the device locks or sleeps. Keep the page open and device awake, and test the global sound settings before starting.

Can timers run in order with a break between them?

Yes. Choose In order, set an interval in seconds and start the sequence. Every timer runs in numbered order; use Move up or Move down to change it. Groups, status filters and selection do not narrow the queue. Intervals are inserted between timers; 0 starts the next immediately, and the last timer completes the sequence. Pause and resume apply during timers and intervals. Reset the sequence before changing its order or members.

How are saved sets different from groups?

Groups filter your current timers; a saved set is a collection of configurations you can load again. You can save up to 12 sets using the current selection and filter scope. Loading adds ready timers without replacing or starting existing timers. Existing groups are preserved; ungrouped entries use the set name as their group. The 24-timer limit still applies.
