Focus for 25 minutes, rest for 5, then take a 15-minute break after four completed focus sessions.
Set focus to 1–120 minutes, short breaks to 1–60 minutes, and long breaks to 1–90 minutes. Choose when the long break starts.
Choose separately whether breaks start after focus and whether focus starts after a break. Leave either off to start that phase yourself.
Write down your next task, check it off when done, and keep the list in this browser.
Review completed and early-ended focus and break sessions by date. Export all saved sessions as a CSV file.

The Pomodoro Technique breaks a task into focused work sessions and planned breaks. A common rhythm is 25 minutes of work, a 5-minute break, and a longer break after four completed sessions. Choose one concrete task for each session, then step away during the break.
A Pomodoro timer handles that rhythm for you. This page counts down each focus and break period, tracks completed sessions, and can start the next phase automatically if you enable it. Add a task before starting so you know what you want to move forward.
Add a task or pick the next unfinished item. Keep the goal small enough to make progress in one session.
The timer is ready at 25:00. Press Start and work until the reminder sounds. Pause if you need to stop.
After focus ends, the timer selects the short break. Start it yourself, or enable automatic start beforehand.
Each naturally completed focus session adds to your count. Skipping or resetting a session does not add a completion.
After four completed focus sessions, the timer selects a 15-minute long break. After that break, a new cycle begins.
25/5 is a starting point, not a requirement. Try 50 minutes of focus with a 10-minute short break for a longer work block, or shorten focus to 15 minutes when starting feels difficult. You can change settings during a session; new lengths apply from the next phase. Breaks are part of the plan: choose a length you will actually take.
Read one section, revise a topic, or finish a small set of exercises before the break.
Use one session for a concrete deliverable instead of keeping an open-ended to-do list in front of you.
Draft a paragraph or solve one small problem. If you need more uninterrupted time, increase the focus interval.
Choose a chapter or a few pages and use the session record to see how much focused reading you completed.
The default is 25 minutes of focus, followed by a 5-minute short break. After four completed focus sessions, the next break is 15 minutes. You can change these lengths and the number of rounds before a long break in Settings.
The timer moves to the next phase when a session finishes. In Settings, turn on Auto-start breaks to begin a break after focus, and Auto-start focus to begin focus after a break. Each option works independently; otherwise, press Start when you are ready.
Yes. Open the header Settings button. Focus can be 1–120 minutes, short breaks 1–60 minutes, and long breaks 1–90 minutes. Choose a long break after 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 8 completed focus sessions. Changes made during a session take effect from the next session.
Step away from your task. Stretch, get water, or look away from the screen so you can return with fresh attention.
Completed and early-ended focus and break sessions appear in Records with their task, start and end times, duration, and status. Only a focus session that reaches zero counts as a completed pomodoro. Paused time is excluded from the recorded duration. Your progress and records are saved in this browser and survive refreshes and language changes.
You can switch tabs while the page stays open: the countdown uses a target time, and enabled automatic starts continue between phases. Browsers may delay background updates, notifications, or sounds, especially when the device is locked or asleep. Keep the device awake for an important alarm.
Use the Settings button in the site header on this page to change session lengths, automatic starts, alarm sound, and volume. Use the separate theme control in the header to change the site's appearance.

Yes. In Records, choose a date or clear the date filter to see all saved sessions. Tasks have their own completed and to-do views. Viewing older records does not interrupt the timer. Data stays in this browser.
Export CSV downloads every saved session, regardless of the selected date or tab filter. It includes the date, task, start and end times, duration, session type, and status. The file is created in your browser; your records are not uploaded.
